Aoi Miyasato (宮里 葵 Miyasato Aoi) is a C-Class Liberator of Mermaid Island and one of the Wärter Knights of Mermaid Island, alongside Momoko Kouzuki (Aoi's Arm).
Appearance[]
Aoi has shoulder-length black hair that hangs on the left side, brown eyes and small pink lips.
Aoi has a slender, toned figure, quite contrary to Momoko Kouzuki (Aoi's curvaceous partner). She has deep tanned skin, relatively small breasts and slender waist that spreads downward into moderately wide hips.
Personality[]
Aoi has been shown to be a remarkably laid back person, a trait which she shares with Momoko Kouzuki (Aoi's Arm). Kasumi Shigure has expressed her displeasure with both her and her partner's as Knights.
She is shown to be quite jocular and playful as she was one of the first people to make fun of Mamori Tokonome for her name misinterpreted translation as "Virgin".
She seems to like shirking her duties, albeit does so in a rather jocular way, as when she was called to duty by Capt. Kasumi; she had answered the call but jokingly denied being there. In spite of her laid back attitude though, she doesn't seem to mind taking orders as she dutifully reports to Kasumi when she called for the two.
Abilities[]
Despite only being a C-Class Liberator, Aoi has managed to become a Knight of Mermaid Island. Her strength hasn't been fairly assessed though since her only battle thus far has been with Mirei Shikishima & Mamori Tokonome whose collective strength is considered S-Class.
Charlotte Scherzen blamed Kasumi Shigure for their defeat on the beach, but they were the closest available Knights.
Story[]
Arrival of Mamori Tokonome and Mirei Shikishima[]
Aoi and Momoko Kouzuki are Mirei Shikishima's tormentors who are part of the arrest squad. When Mamori arrives at the beach on Mermaid Island, Aoi and Momoko are ordered by Kasumi to test Mamori's aptitude. Aoi and Momoko demonstrate the meaning of Liberators and Extars by Driving in front of Mamori. She fondles Momoko's breast and touches Momoko's pelvic region, which confuses and embarrasses Mamori. They are interrupted by the arrival of Mirei, who protects Mamori from Aoi's attacks. Mirei Drives with Mamori, and promptly defeats Aoi and Momoko, leaving them naked and unconscious on the beach. They are later stretchered by a rescue team back to the castle.
Wedding Aisle[]
Aoi and Momoko are seen again as they descend the stairs into the underground disciplinary room, where they find Mirei awaiting her punishment. In the castle, they are dressed in the Wärter Knight uniforms. Aoi hits Mirei using a shinai. The pair are later seen resting and unconscious, which allows Meifon Sakura to free Mirei.
Following their defeat at the hands of Mirei and Mamori, as well as Mirei's escape from the underground disciplinary room, Aoi and Momoko are shown tied by Ange's ropes with their breasts exposed. There, they are brutally and repeatedly whipped in their breasts by Ange as punishment. In spite of their apologies and begging, Charlotte only encourages further punishment for their failure.
Atelier Torino[]
Aoi and Momoko return to the beach where they fought Mirei and Mamori. Aoi is seen rubbing oil on Momoko's back, and then pinching Momoko's nipple. The two are interrupted when Nimi Minimi emerges from the ocean with her bra off (which she used to catch fish). Mamori invites them to join the others at the beach, which they do, despite their apparent discomfort. However, Aoi and Momoko quickly begin to enjoy their time spent with the others, as they are seen sliding down Nimi's back into the ocean.
Etymology[]
- The name Aoi means "hollyhock, althea" (葵).
- Aoi's surname Miyasato means "temple, shrine, palace" (宮) (miya) and "village" (里) (sato).
Trivia[]
- Alongside Momoko Kouzuki, Aoi is the first character shown initiating Drive in the series.
